About us
Built for the shops we grew up with
ModernStock is a bachelor's thesis project. We want small shops in Cambodia to know their stock as well as big supermarkets do.
Why we built it
Most mini-marts, pharmacies, and hardware shops in Cambodia still keep stock in notebooks or Excel. Owners find out too late that products ran out or expired, and mistakes in riel change add up every day.
Foreign software rarely fits: it is not in Khmer, it doesn't round riel, and it expects every cashier to have an email. ModernStock starts from how Cambodian shops really work.
